AI transcription tools are not allowed during any live event hosted by the Teacher Portal including webinars, Live Lesson Planning or one-to-one support sessions.
Why?
Protecting participant privacy: AI notetakers automatically record audio/video, which might conflict with privacy and consent requirements in many regions.
Avoiding unapproved data capture: AI notetakers may store, process or transmit data outside our control.
Reducing the risk of errors or misrepresentation: AI transcripts can misinterpret context, tone or nuance.
Maintaining a safe, open learning space: We create a safe and open space for Teacher Portal members, guest speakers and staff to express themselves freely in a courteous and constructive way.
Webinar recordings and transcriptions are available: for accessibility and self-study purposes, recordings of webinars are available here, typically, one or two days after the live event.
Moderation
• Community managers will remove AI notetakers from any live event without warning. • Community managers can remove membership for repeated attempts to use AI notetakers.
